Philip A. Parisi

 

Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

 

Phil Parisi comes to the United Service Organizations with more than 17 years of diverse financial leadership skills, including strategic planning and finance operations. Before joining the USO, Mr. Parisi served as the CFO of In2Books, Inc., a nonprofit education services company focused on children’s literacy. In addition to building out and overseeing the financial control and infrastructure at In2Books, he assisted in the creation of a for-profit subsidiary as well as participating in the subsidiary’s initial financing transaction.

Earlier in his career, he served as the executive director of finance at AOL where he led the strategic financial planning efforts to secure financing and partnership opportunities for international expansion. This resulted in the creation of five joint ventures valued at more than $400 million, operating across eight international markets. Subsequent to the formation of the joint ventures, Mr. Parisi built and presented the initial financial operating plans to the various Boards of Directors. At AOL, he also developed financial reporting requirements and key operating metrics for the international business units.

Mr. Parisi also led an accounting organization at PRC, a systems integration firm selling primarily to the government. He has public accounting experience from Deloitte & Touche and internal audit experience from Black & Decker.

He is a certified public accountant, with a BBA in public accounting from Pace University and an MBA from George Mason University.
