Vice President, Operations Southwest Asia
Kevin Meade, a native of Bluefield, W.Va., is the Operations vice president, Southwest Asia. He is responsible for the development and implementation of USO programs and services provided to military personnel throughout the region. He oversees operations at the USO facilities in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Dubai, Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar. Meade is committed to enhancing the quality of life for service personnel in this region.
He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant. During his career, Meade was stationed in Korea, Japan and Illinois. Kevin ended his career as the Chief, Medical Enlisted Issues and Command Dental Manager for Headquarters Pacific Air Forces (HQ PACAF), Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. During his tenure at HQ PACAF, he oversaw the operations of nine medical/dental facilities, more than 1,500 active duty members and a budget of $5.2 million.
Kevin graduated from the University of Maryland University College with a Bachelor of Science in management and a minor in Psychology. He also holds a Master’s of Public Administration degree from Troy University, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Management in organizational leadership at the University of Phoenix. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Military Surgeon’s Uniformed Services (AMSUS), and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
